Sofitel Barcelona Skipper is a fabulous 5-star luxury hotel and is without a doubt one of the best beach hotels in Barcelona. The hotel is next to Port Olímpic, only a 3 minute walk from the beach and close to Ciutadella Park.

Occidental Atenea Mar
Occidental Atenea Mar is an adults-only hotel by the beach in Barcelona, located just 150 metres from the Nova Mar Bella Beach in Poble Nou. This is one of the nicest beaches in Barcelona, as it is a little further away from town there are fewer tourists here and it is very much a local’s area.
It’s a 50-minute walk along the beach to get into the centre of Barcelona though, so you’ll need to use public transport or hop in a taxi to visit the main attractions in Barcelona. The hotel is well-connected via public transportation, with a bus stop right opposite and Poble Nou Metro Station 10 minutes walk away.
